Here’s a nice and refreshing spring or summer cocktail. The Gimlet is updated to include the scent and taste of fresh basil. This beverage is great on a warm afternoon or evening. If you would like the drink virgin, replace the gin with sparkling water for a bubbly, limeade beverage.

Caesar Cocktail
The Caesar is a classic Canadian cocktail invented in 1969 in Alberta, Calgary and hugely popular in Canada. I had my first one when we were up in Vancouver for the Olympics. It is similar to a Bloody Mary, but uses clamato juice rather than tomato juice. The clamato juice contributes a slight sweetness to the beverage and it’s very tasty.
