Soft Pretzels
Making your own soft, hot pretzels allows you to add any toppings you wish and enjoy them at home. These pretzels are puffy and soft. My favorite are lightly salted and served with yellow mustard on the side. The dough will keep in the refrigerator for a few days, so feel free to only make a few at a time.

Cheese of the Month – Andante Dairy Acappella (Ashed Round)
This month I chose a local goat milk cheese from Andante Dairy called Acappella, which comes in three varieties. This particular Acappella I chose was round with an ash rind. The cheese is aged to a soft, creamy texture. It has a tang like many soft aged goat cheese, but this cheese tasted a bit more earthy than sweet. It’s great on butter crackers or lightly toasted bread. It also pairs beautifully with red grapes and soft, juicy ripe pears.
