I made the Irish Soda Bread over a week ago and we had it with our Corned Beef and Cabbage. The bread turned out great. I will definitely keep this recipe in my rotation.  (In fact, I’ve already baked a second one, which helped me finish off a quart of buttermilk.)

Apples are one of my favorite fruits.  I think it’s the versatility they allow with cooking, baking, and eating.  The variety of apples available is astoundingly abundant.  Also, they keep very well for a long time if stored properly.  Here’s a VERY comprehensive site all about apples.
