Green Lentils with Onions

I picked this curry dish the other week because it used more common ingredients, and mainly pantry staples, so I didn’t need to purchase many extra items during my grocery trip.  It makes a lot and is a perfect meal when served with brown rice.  I like adding some sautéed spinach on top or on the side to get some more vegetable in the meal.

Review Kennedy’s Irish Pub and Curry House

If you are ever visiting San Francisco, check this place out.  It has great Indian food in a very unique environment.  Plus, it’s a short walk from the popular Fisherman’s Wharf area, just a block or two from the Cable Car turnaround on Taylor Street.  The Curry House is in the center of an Irish Pub, which has pool tables, foosball, air hockey, and a few other arcade games.  There are televisions for sports watching and along with a full Indian menu containing both North and South Indian cuisine, popular bar food is also available.  The bar is known for it’s large selection of bottled beers.  For me, I go for the Indian food.
