French Strawberry Cake
This was my first time making a Genoise cake and I think it turned out pretty well. It did deflate a bit more than I would have liked. But, I was still able to get my cake cut into three layers. Three very thin layers.

Pain d’Epi
This is a classic French loaf of bread, cut to look like a wheat stalk. It’s not hard to do, you just need know the cutting technique. It makes for a “wow” presentation and takes only a minute to do.
