Cowgirl Creamery Clabbered Cottage Cheese
When I saw Andrew Knowlton mention this cottage cheese in a recent issue of Bon Appetit magazine I had to try it. I had almost purchased it before, but since it is about twice the price of other cottage cheese I held off.

Cheese of the Month – Cowgirl Creamery St Pat
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been tasting many of Cowgirl Creamery’s cheeses to write about for the cheese of the month posts. The St Pat cheese is a seasonal springtime cheese, so I thought I would grab a round this year before it was too late.

Cowgirl Creamery's Buckaroo Cheese Sliced
Cheese of the Month – Cowgirl Creamery’s Buckaroo
In order to expand the variety of cheeses I buy and use, I thought I should start trying a different cheese each month. This month I purchased one of Cowgirl Creamery’s specialty cheeses, Buckaroo. A semi-firm, wash-rind cow’s milk cheese, aged just 60 days.

Cheese of the Month
In order to expand the variety of cheeses I buy and use, I thought I should start trying a different cheese each month. This month I purchased one of Cowgirl Creamery’s newest cheeses, Wagon Wheel. They describe it as an everyday table cheese, perfect for snacking. It’s great in a sandwich, for topping crackers, or just slicing and eating.
