Here’s a perfect warming breakfast for a cold fall day. Apple, raisins, cinnamon, cloves, and a bit of sweetness from maple syrup and brown sugar all cooked with steel cut oats. Cook a batch up for breakfast throughout the week.

Cashews with Cardamom and Cloves

This curry dish is fast and easy to make, but plan a bit ahead to soak the cashews. The dish is warm and hearty, and quite rich, and amazingly delicious. Look for fresh curry leaves on the Internet, but you can make the dish without as well.
Mini Cinnamon Rolls
These are cute, sweet little cinnamon rolls, perfect for dessert or brunch. Best of all you can make the dough at night and let it rise, and then in the morning it doesn’t take much time at all to prep and bake them. You can still have them ready for brunch!
Homemade applesauce brings applesauce to the next level. It has so much more flavor than jarred applesauce. Feel free to change up the spices and flavorings. Try adding some fresh chopped ginger and allspice instead of nutmeg. The lemon helps add a bit of bright flavor.
