I recently stopped in at the Recchiuti shop in the San Francisco Ferry Building. I had the chocolates a few years ago when my husband bought me a box for Valentine’s Day. I thought I would turn the tables and get him some chocolate this year.

Los Gatos Farmers' Market
Back in June we visited the Los Gatos Farmers’ Market. It’s located in Downtown Los Gatos off West Main Street and South Santa Cruz Avenue, right in the Town Plaza Park. We arrived on the early side, around 9:30 and it was still fairly calm and we were able to talk with the vendors, who were all very helpful. By the time we finished around 11am the place was quite crowded, but filled with the joys of a hot summer day.

North Beach Farmers' Market
I just finished washing and storing the produce I picked up at the newly opened North Beach Farmers’ Market. They had a nice little variety of vendors selling everything from flowers, bread, olive oil, stone fruits, berries, lettuces, and many varieties of vegetables.
