Review Frog’s Leap Winery

Last month we went up to the Napa Valley and had a tasting at Frog’s Leap Winery.  We did a seated tasting.  This included a flight of 4 wines with some bites of food to pair with the wine.  We were seated at a tall table on the covered back porch of the tasting house, which over looks their garden.  It’s a beautiful and calming environment and a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon.  Each wine was described in full when poured at the table, describing what grapes were used, where they were grown, and how long they were fermented.  A tasting note sheet was also provided.  All of Frog’s Leap grapes are all grown organically, as well as many varieties of fruits and vegetables.  They also have fruit syrups and conserves available for purchase at the vineyard from their orchard fruit.

Tours are also available during the week, and provide further information on how the grapes are grown and the process of wine making.
