Cheese of the Month – Trader Joe’s Creamy Toscano Cheese Dusted with Cinnamon
I don’t remember seeing this cheese last year, but this year I past by it a couple times before finally picking it up. And I’m glad I did. The cheese is nutty and sweet with a slightly crumbly texture. Salt crystals are interspersed throughout, providing a fine crunch every now and then. The dusting of cinnamon is very slight, but has a warming sweetness. I paired the cheese with bread, pear, and prosciutto. I can’t wait to try with apple.
