I just finished washing and storing the produce I picked up at the newly opened North Beach Farmers’ Market. They had a nice little variety of vendors selling everything from flowers, bread, olive oil, stone fruits, berries, lettuces, and many varieties of vegetables.
It’s located on Mason Street between Columbus and Lombard (if you look to the west you will see the crooked part of Lombard Street.) It’s a short distance to the popular Fisherman’s Wharf tourist destination (to the north) and a few blocks from Washington Square Park (to the south). It’s in a great location for locals, as well as tourists walking through. Why not pick up some peaches and strawberries, head to Washington Square Park, and have a little picnic?
This particular farmers’ market is put on by Urban Table. Stop by every Sunday between 9am and 1pm. It runs from June 13 until October 24.

Thanks for visiting. We hope to continue to grow the market over the coming weeks and offer a greater variety of products. We also have a doggie drinking station.
See you at the market
